Kirsten spent the holidays at Teacapan and went for 6 mile walks along the beach with Agnes where they saw a dead dolphin attracting the attention of vultures.

She celebrated Christmas at the campgrounds pot luck dinner from 4-30pm onwards and the next few days were very relaxing. We have a lot of German friends who we meet up with so Kirsten wasn't alone.

New Year was celebrated with a big camp fire on the beach. There was a fantastic sunset. Normally the Americans and Canadians don't stay up until midnight, only the Europeans. But this year was different and a number of non-Euros stayed up late and some even made it past midnight.

No lie in for Kirsten though because she went out fishing at 7am on New Years morning with Helmut and Karl-Heinz. They went out into the Laguna and had dolphins swimming next to the boat. But the fish weren't biting. Was it Kirsten´s fault? Woman on board! But as soon as they changed spots the fish were begging to come aboard. The video shows the details.
