It was only a short drive to a small town called Rincón. We went to a campground where we were given Church and Church's spot! (Church and Church are the authors of RV guides listing campgrounds in various countries including Mexico and are famous amongst RVers.)

We went for a walk along the beach and back through the shops in the afternoon and swapped some books at the campgrounds library. Later we worked on the website.

Tuesday and Wednesday were spent on the computer with visits to the beach in between. On Thursday we decided to extend for another two nights to try and get up to date on the computer. Helen was joined in the shower by a huge spider that was almost as big as a tarantula!! In fact she thought it was a tarantula at first!

On Friday Kirsten went to do an update for our website at an internet cafe but some of the reports and photos were missing. So she came back to try and sort out the problems and answered some emails whilst Helen started getting things sorted out to leave tomorrow.

On Saturday, we spent the morning getting ready to leave and having showers and didn't leave until 1-30pm. We drove around the corner to a launderette to do our washing and Kirsten went into the internet again.

It was 3-30pm when we finally set off. We drove to Punta Mita and were heading for a restaurant about 9 miles east where we had heard we could park up for free. It took us nearly 2 hours to drive 18 miles because the road just disintegrated after the first 5 miles. There were good stretches in between the bad, but after Punta Mita the road just disappeared!!

They are widening the road into a four lane road but had removed the old road, leaving just a sand and gravel road with deep ruts and pot holes only suitable for 4 wheel drives!! Somehow, Winnie managed it though!

We finally found the restaurant just as it was getting dark. There was a sign up saying "No camping" but we didn't have a choice. So we asked at the restaurant and they said we could camp there!

On Sunday, we went to the restaurant for a good meal and then went for a walk along the beach.
