On Wednesday Kirsten started work selling strawberries in Hamburg. Her mom told her they needed people to sell and her interview the day before
consisted of one question... "When can you start"!!!! That's the easiest job interview she's ever had!
She worked at one of the hundreds of stands with another woman, Marlies. The strawberry season is only short, about 6 to 8 weeks. But Kirsten had
a lot of fun. Marlies wasn't interested in the football so Kirsten could arrange the hours so that we didn't miss any of the matches! We've flown
back to Germany to watch the football after all!
We also had time to see Kirsten's family and watch her nephew Kilian and his football team win their championship match for their year (8 year olds).
